This story is funny and cute, but also quite silly and maybe too “light” with no over-all plot, clear background-lore or political intrigues so far (chapter 30).
It often it reminds me of “Even though I become a side character, I’m being adored by an overprotective duke”, with the small difference that this female lead wants to pair two guys (who were both supposed to be gay according to the “original” work) following the example set by her favorite fan-fic.
I for my part enjoy stories like this one that avoid all the typical fantasy-romance-tropes with their boo-hoo-hoo-drama and childhood traumas that molded male leads into emotionless warriors and unloquacious, anti-social (sometimes even rude) men.
On the downside, many events of this manga happen at school (with old brick buildings, but still very boring-looking rooms and school-uniforms too) since the female lead was transmigrated into a school-otome-BL-game…
Unfortunately, things are – once again – very different from the “original”, mainly that the two guys that the female lead wants to “nudge” into becoming a couple aren’t gay, but maybe pan/bi or even right-away straight, especially the (sadly cliché dark-haired, stiff and taciturn) fiancé of the female lead.
I also dislike that this dark-haired betrothed very clearly is the main male lead, since he’s getting the most “screen-time” of all men in this story, he’s the one who spends the most time with the the heroine and also saves her most often…
The female lead is supposed to be smart judging by her learning achievements, she also works hard and even sacrifices a lot for the sake of others, but mainly she’s a total airhead as for the sake of the basic theme of the whole plot (her attempts to matchmake those two guys against their wills)…
With even more humor and unexpected turns of events added, this could become a really cool story, but I somehow doubt it. At least it’s a light-hearted and quick read with funny bits.
