@Manari, to be precise, Carcel graciously tells Ines that she should put women next to her who wouldn’t betray her because he doesn’t want her to. Be mistreated by anyone because he loves her. He then leaves the room. Ines reflects on her actions and when she recalls him confession, she breaks down crying. She was glad when he returned to the room because she felt like he was going to abandon her after he left the room.

Most people think Ines is a goody-two-shoes because manhwa already cut out her toxic behavior but novel readers know this is not a surprising thing for her to do,.
The only reason there won’t be an explosive drama is because Carcel is a pushover, as Ines like to call him. He allows her to win all the time so instead of her apologizing sincerely to him, he’ll be the one who ends up apologizing after she breaks down crying because she knew she was wrong and didn’t want Carcel to walk away from her. Of course, Carcel wouldn’t walk away anyway because he’s actually very soft with her.
