She’s been traumatized by men and romance for the entirety of all her last lives. It makes sense that she would be somewhat permanently desensitized and jaded. And she def did not “green him” thee hardly interacted growing up but just had an arranged marriage like all noble children do. I get that it might be annoying but it would also be very uninteresting and unrealistic if only like 20 chapters after their marriage her whole personality and plan chnages and her trauma is just magically resolved by Carcel’s kindness. She’s had live and devotion before and it still didn’t go well so I’m understanding of her deeply rooted skepticism
