I know all of you have written off the ML. But trust me… it’s not his fault that he was a man-whore. I know it sounds weird but that was completely out of his hands. Emiliano was most definitely a good person, however, I do blame Ines for his death. She knew that her family wouldn’t sit idly by which was why they fled.
Her mother is actually really evil. Sure, trying to make your daughter the best she can be is an absolute pleasure for any mother. But putting her in a barrel? Being angry with her for not starving herself? I’m not sure why you all think the entire family is trash. The mother is yes. The brother is as well but the father doesn’t want her to be married and despises Carcel for constantly putting off their wedding. That’s a natural reaction. The father was just hoping his daughter would break off the engagement due to her fiancé’s behavior.
Again, Carcel isn’t at fault for him sleeping around nor for putting off the engagement. He’s trash because of something else.

Killing they’re baby is most certainly not acceptable, and how do I know this? Because illegitimate children exist for a reason so that must mean it’s legal for them to live. They clearly didn’t care about the pain it already caused her to see her lover die if they were planning on taking her baby’s life as well. Her father is all talk, I refuse to believe he genuinely cares for his daughter’s happiness now.
