From the comment section of Webtoon Ep 12, something I will say is that where many understood the hypocrisy of Cárcel some overlooked her father’s. In Inés last life, her father ordered her brother to kill her husband and her child after refusing to hear her pleas to escape her engagement to the crown prince. Truly, he father loves her, but what he loves most is the family name. He loves this Inés reputation of a wholesome, while plain girl. He hates Cárcel ruining that reputation more. Meanwhile, Cárcel in the webtoon seemed more sympathetic to what he has done to her reputation where in the novel more so than getting it right then fully, he was just so very very horny and so very very defensive in his mind. Gosh. I’m blushing. Y’all read the novel!

He just wants his family not to be ridiculed after the marriage. It’s obvious he just thinks he is better and more important than the other people and behaves in a confident way that is rude .
