The father and brother we see now are most likely different in character from those we’ve seen in the life before. It’s still remarkable that Inés can deal with this. My guess is that in the life we’re she became the wife of the crown prince her family treated her well (it also said her father gave her everything) so she knows they won’t necessarily act like they did in the life she lived with Emiliano.
Honestly, I’m surprised that she can even look at her family. I would go into a ball of rage knowing that they killed my husband and basically myself and child. I just can’t forgive them a constantly just see my husband’s murderers

I’mma give her family a pass on this intimidating dinner affair since they haven’t regressed multiple times so to them the man their daughter chose grew up to be a dog. Not she chose someone she likely knew in one of her previous lives to have a bit of a careless edge but with a good enough name she wouldn’t be hunted down or married to the prince. We KNOW there are at least two lives but hell she could legit be like mentally a granny just wanting to live a retiree life.
