I get what you’re saying. Actually i really enjoy this kind of manhwas. Obsessive characters and dark romance shet. And i know it’s not good for my mental health at allllll but i can’t stop it?? I kinda had this, what can I call it? “Fetish”?? I don’t know, i had them from when I was a kid and i understood them a few years ago so yeah my mental health is so awful right now I’m kinda obsessed with this manhwas

Actually, the art style itself is giving us a hint.
Also, the epilogue was about Helbirds following with a creepy description about them.
So yeah. That is to be expected.
It is dark, somewhat mysterious and the violence and cruelty clearly indicates how sick the people in this story could be.
I for one do not enjoy stories full of psychopathic character with no reasonable development and unclear outcome. As if the the whole point of the story is to depict craziness and mental issues. The characters are miserable and will stay miserable if not ending up in a worse situation.

Thats why I LOVE ‘iyashikei’ genre in Anime.
Since it is trying to HEAL people.
Not put salt on injury or add fuel to the already ablazed fire within people’s hearts.
Doesn’t matter if someone enjoys being tortured etc.
Logically speaking, this isn’t a healthy mental state according to the scientists diagnosis. Like it or not this is called a psychological disorder.
Thus, those who try to profit out of people’s misery, pain or even disorders are the worst!

I don’t know if this story does have a sensible outcome or is just trying to portray the sickness of the mind and as such.
If it actually does have a good ending, even if the process is harsh or a tad dark I personally might endure it to some extent. Otherwise, nah.
I won’t feed my stomach freshly barbecued lamb chops while feeding my mind rotten food with contaminated water.
Yeah, these stories are snacks for the mind. Better be careful with what we feed ourselves both physically AND mentally.
