He probably wanted it big cause 1. He doesn’t like Ray to met with the gardener. 2. He wanted to isolate her so that she can only rely on him.
I’m introvert so I don’t really mind it that much. But probably won’t last long if I don’t have anything else to do aside for hardcore mating. I think it’s a good time for Ray to learn more things.

what the hell is your problem? im not saying is this is same story linr, but his story is basiclly like the beast cuz in the disney the beast was spoiled and he was mean to everyone like cloden, i aint the only one who think this way lol i know is 2 different stories but HIS story is almost the same …and if u have a problem with that then idk what to tell you, in general you will find other stories that will remind you of a movie which is normal it happens all the time lol
So basically he didn’t have any adult to actually discipline him and since most of the adults in his life were beneath him in status, they acted accordingly and in turn twisted his view of the world and morals. Not one person was willing to speak against him for his sake whether he did something good or bad. No wonder he is the way he is and why he got cursed. Classic beauty and the beast, indeed …hmmm wonder why he wants to build an annex……
