At the begining the story was really promising but lately… I’m nothing but disappointed with the rythm or pace of it. Maybe it’s because I feel that’s going around in circles and they story has become slow and somehow meaningless with so little progress. I feel that most scenes and interaction between Iliana and Mac are just fillers that do nothing for the plot to go further.
I know that if ML whould have done what he should since the begining (take the case to the authorities and search and punish Iliana for her crimes) this manhwa would have only 30+ chapters and we wouldn’t be in chapter 72 with so many questions and even less answers than we had at the begining of the story… but, alas I like the art a lot, I like a few of the characters, including FL even when she’s kind of childish and immature at times.

this manhwa is honestly a dumpster fire that i can’t look away from. every chapter leaves me saying “wtf” everytime 😭 for a manhwa about revenge, perhaps stockholm syndrome, and other murky elements like that, it seems to somewhat treats itself like any other romance manhwa. it has some comedic moments in times where i don’t think there should be, i don’t know. anyhow, i can’t stop reading this for some reason. mc can’t stop making dumb decisions and getting butterflies for mag, but whatever i guess 😭 let’s just see where this goes
