FL is like other fl’ who wanted to follow the og novel. This story is already orchestrated,so no need to whine. But for me,it should be better if she did not hide in the temple. She should’ve not left Magnus in the first place,but let’s see how the ml jeopardize the FL. ???

@Catfish I agree with you. Her attitude towards Magnus was totally erong to the point of being utterly destructive!! She said ‘I can’t help but to feel like everything is going to repeat once again’ Well of course it would! ‘Cause at the end of the day, you didn’t really improve Magnus’s condition. He just became less resentful, but since she doesn’t know the root cause, which was him being obsessed over Lian in the first place, she thought running away is the best option. And it turned out to be only a step ‘less’ worse than what happened in the original novel. I personally wished she could improve the ML’s condition, at least get rid of his obsession or madness. All and all the story seems better than average so far, so I look forward to seeing it develop further in a more interesting fashion.

@Dont Ask Me As far as what the high priest was saying, all those abilities matches Lian’s. Maybe they are a ‘secret’ founding family inheriting those very traits. The book could be sealed within their land as well. I don’t know if it was instructed by the first emperor himself, or it this family who were acting independently keeping it a secret from the emperor and his descendants. But was is certain right now is this family is very special, and hold a great secret. The FL has been hinting about it since the very beginning. And another fact is that ‘the original’ plays an insignificant role here unlike most novels, since what is unknown is way more that what is actually known from the content o the original novel. The FL keeps repeating this fact as well though she isn’t smart enough to figure most things out. What is highly probable as of now is that her family, while being one of the founding families of the empire, holds a great secret; their pale skin and platinum hair feels eerie and very much in harmoney with her dark abilities and whats been said about those related to the firbidden book. Unclear circumstances undisclosed in the original novel, the original Lian’s death while leaving no memories behind and also the FL’s questions about the original Lian and her motives, these all hints about great secrets to be uncovered as we proceed further into the story. We may even encounter some major plot-twists. Well, lets see what will happen next..
