Though it’s merely my guess,I think the current emperor may noy be of royal blood.cuz the emperor said royalties don’t have twins.but the emperor, the Prince and that girl all look like of the same mold.so maybe that’s why the empress dowager is so eager to get rid of the duke and other matters…
something tells me the king/emperor/whatever hos title is cuz I can never bother to remember them is in cahoots with his mother to get rid of any golem masters and hide some secret about the legitimacy of the royal family. also, someone last chapter pointed out that the blonde girl and prince look similar… sounds like they might be long lost twins and her dad got her out in order to protect her from whatever mayhem is happening rn
