Empress didnt love Emperor, she still loves duke Max , as for Clarice, what empress said have some logic in it. I think duke knows that duches already trets Clarice as hers so she propably wont let him kill her. I wonder how they will resolve this situation with emperor. He will die for shure sooner or later and his kid propably will take after him and become jelous about Noah and Clarice cause Noah is ML
