God while those who think he said he doesn’t want children because it was unlikely Callia could give him them he seems the type that would consider a child ‘competition’ for her love rather than a physical embodiment therein.

Yeah,.I know it’s only in the past now since you didn’t give it to her that night..I know Callia is dense sometimes but it’s natural for a woman to overthink especially when the person you love only think of you as a friend…and your mother is one of the greatest factor why she left the empire,.
This chapter is a little confusing, it took me awhile to realize that in the middle to the end was a flashback. Just like in the previous chapter they made a fast forward to show her with big belly and almost time to give birth….
And why do I get the feeling that the author will keep making flashback chapter of Simon (shyman is to funny) solving that thing with the elf and him being depressed because of callia until they reach the timeline where she comeback with her baby (because there’s not much to show her being pregnant)
Novel readers did point out that the Manhwa’s pace is too fast…they are dismissing a lot of tiny details just to get to the main events. I personally apreciate those tiny details though…alas.

But it does happen in real life though, and quite often at that. Differences in world-views, mind-sets and upbringings could easily lead to huge misjudgements and misunderstandings more often times than not. I have witnessed many cases myself.
We tend to not look too deep into them in real life, but in fact they are very common. Just not this ‘engaging’ for us like how it is in this story. Even if we are to be a target of such matters, we won’t get this much involved until we get a full grasp of the whole situation, and most likely when it is long past the time to act accordingly. Only when we are left with a mountain of regrets do we get as depressed as right now that we are witnessing both characters inside and out.
