I still remember the things I said as a child (my parents made fun of some innocent statements of mine for years, so they’re hard to forget), and I obviously totally did not understand or rather misunderstood the love that grown-ups feel and things like intimate relationships.
And actually, a child with the mind of a grown-up like this isekai’d heroine would absolutely creep me out if she started to think of a small boy like Lacius as a possible romantic love interest 😀
