The people defending a romantic relationship between the mc and the dragon girl are clearly WRONG. Is an age gap acceptable? YES, but not always. Why? Because there are PSYCHOLOGICAL and MENTAL/EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT factors! If Rurin was a WOMAN and not a GIRL that looks fresh from highschool, we wouldn’t even be discussing this issue. Let’s say Serena and our MC developted a romantic relationship… It would be fine because both look and act like consensual adults that are MATURE and not just BARELY of age.

i’ll say it again… he’s a human in his mid to late 30’s. sure she’s a dragon that just turned 800 (coming of age), but her perception of time and realistic human comparable age/menatlity is 18. no matter how you look at it that isn’t okay.
the other lady from before was 30 (close to being middle aged). her age gap choosing a 40 year old is NOT the same as what’s going on here. in this case she’s a grown woman that can make a decision about her love life.
it’s unfortunate they drew that woman and the mc to be very young looking which creates these misunderstandings, but also there are people in their 30’s that look very young too so it is what it is with their design
