Why has it became a hobby of the authors to belittle faith devotedness in love as if being in love for years and protecting her had no value and its easy to brush it off!!

Honestly, Im so sick and tired of of these plots where the one whos been faithful for years, gets casted aside for a new one who has just been introduced and sometimes–like in this case, isnt even in love with the girl initially.
Are the authors bored or something?!

What woman in this world doesn’t like a faithful partner? Which one would a sane woman choose if given the chance?
One who’s been in love with you for years, protecting and cherishing you and tried hard not to hurt you the slightest even with his confession! Or someone totally new where there is no guaranty if he wouldn’t cheat/betray/dump you anytime in the future? It doesn’t even need to be that extreme, the character and how he sees and thinks of love, handles it and expresses it is in itself a main problem! And it would take time for them to reveal their true nature. You may find about who he really is when its too late!
What would you do in the long run?
Most younger woman these days tend to not bother much about such matters, not yet.
However, the more you mature the more ‘secure’ you’d want your relationships to be.
There is ‘the secure partner’ concept in psychological studies which explains further if anyones interested.

Now, aside from this particular story, Im wondering whats happening to the authors these days.
Looks like its all about attracting more customers by providing more bizarre plots as to relieve their boredom and fill their pockets.
