I have a theory, what if the story is actually pretty good and last chapter would have been even better but sadly the translation is completely off and doesn’t follow the vibe at all.
I think her mother was a commoner with magic, but she was impressive so she was the king’s mistress and Grace is half royal from that? Then, in order to secure power, her mother was killed by the current monarch?
