I think it’s moreso that she knows he’ll be imprisoned or killed, so everything he owns will be sold to pay his debts. That would include things that would otherwise be hard to collect like his mansion and his title itself.

Honestly, though, with how dumb this guy is, I’m surprised he was even able to realize that FL was the cause of his downfall. Granted he’s wrong, he had doom coming from a few different directions.
