the idea of an information store that sells rumors is… baffling. on the one hand, information guilds are important. but on the other hand, publicly announcing that you’ll buy or sell out people for the right price isn’t a good look for the store. having it be some other establishment with a secret information guild would have been better. if the royal family wished, they could accuse you of espionage
also, there’s no way to verify the accuracy of these rumors you’re spreading, so many people could have their reputations hurt and come back to sue. the whole concept is just baffling
