I think i know the reason… Its either she is not his daughter,he could be fl’s uncle. I think her real parents where powerful and wealthy but died when she was very young and since fl was young she had to be taken care of a relative and while she is young the enheritance will be under the guardians hands until she is of marriagable age or something
