   It started off strong but the plot is dragging like crazy now. There are way too many chapters dedicated just to flashbacks showing how great the Ex used to be or present time chapters just about the Ex being depressed and trashy. And then nothing plot-wise happens in the chapters where the FL and ML actually shows up.

   It’s a cheating troupe with a rewarding plot. With the amount of authors in the world, many themes and troupes are similar. It’s just the difference in creativity in how the story is told. I think this story is good because it’s more realistic than others. There arebdead-beat, broke ass partners in the world. They think like mintrash. She’ll never leave me no matter what I do because she loves me too much. Until that woman reaches her breaking point and learns to put herself first. I love when they experience remorse. Losing that one good woman. Plus when you grow up with a chaebol daddy, the only emotions you are allowed to show is anger and fierceness. Let’s wait for the character development.

   i just want to add on that i see nothing special about the ML. he’s rich, likes the FL, cold and probably has family problems. a generic male lead.

   it’s okay *warning spoilers ahead*
   i wouldn’t say the plot is that special, it’s pretty generic imo, i’ve read a lot of manhwas so i’ve seen plenty like this or at least a lot that contain the same features.
   the art is pretty, like the art style itself. however i dont like how the artist portrayed the FL, her body looks sexualised and unrealistic. i wish she had more of a backbone and was more strong? idk how to explain it.
   there was some problems people had with the ML that i saw on tiktok about how he never seemed to blush, fortunately he did blush in chapter 48 and outright said he liked her in 49 which finally a ML spoke abt his feelings (bare minimum)

   aside from the art i have another problem.. is it just me or are they constantly having intercourse in the later chapters or am i just exaggerating things?? i don’t have a problem with the smut, i just wish there was a deeper emotional connection between the two. imo, old mincheol (is that how you say it?) is better than the current ML, he was much sweeter even though now currently he’s a pain in the a** because at least when he was in high school he was very kind to our FL and worked hard for her (God knows how he changed)

   i mean overall.. i’d give it like a 3.5.

      I think the problem is that each chapter is so short and the story pacing is so dramatically slow that we don’t really get that much when it comes to plot or character development. It seems they just fill-in smut scenes every few chapters to make it controversial, then the author or the publishing company stretch it too much. I really like TOAWF but the supppppper slow pacing makes it unbearable.

      @flwerdaisy agree very much with you. Alot of these readers are complaining about other people giving their opinions but those who say this story is okay have valid reasons. The story is just sex, personal issues, and they all need therapy 🤣 but that would be way too “boring” if it were that logical. Im only reading to see how it’s gonna end. Though at this rate any kind of character growth is gonna take another 100 chapters
