Well that advisor is a massive hypocrite. He was in such a similar position yet acts as if he is so much better then her. And the ml is redeeming himself. Like he is still kind of crazy but he seems to care a lot about her so
I like him, he is a psychopath but he is respectful and despite acting like he is a playboy who does anything he wants, he actually cares for his people and is just.
His flaws are a little disturbing sometimes but considering the time they are living it’s understandable and like I said before at least he is respectful (ish).
I don’t usually like this kind of story because the female lead usually is useless or has Stockholm syndrome, but this one is incredible and more human, she understands that to survive the most important thing is safety so it doesn’t matter if she is free when freedom will only bring danger to her. Well the male lead is just like any other one, possessive, psychopath and falls for the first women that challenges him, the usual “no one has ever done that to me before” but I liked him hahaha
