Blackened in stories mean a black hearted(cold hearted) NOT a BLACK person lmao. It’s almost like seeing black and slave so close together just made your brains shut down

the title for this one was definitely…. a choose. i wont judge the story based on the title but i think this is the first time a title has really persuaded me not to read a story. the art looked pretty so i clicked and then that title…. yikes. whether the story is actually wonderfully interesting or not, i will never know bc lmfao yea, i aint reading this.

@mdzsehuns omfg OBVIOUSLY this isn’t about race. The title is bad bc, as a modern person, why tf would u want to read something that is so blatantly about taming a slave? i know this is being nitpicky bc there are a ton of other manhwa that do this, but that’s just my personal feeling from reading the title. but whatever, people can also read whatever they want. it’s all fiction anyway.

If you read 3-5 chapters you will already have a thought of what would happen next it’s too predictive no schemes no plot nor emotion resonance. It doesn’t make you crave for more chapters. The art is beautiful tho 👌🏾

the title is like that because it is just mtl not official translated title. in korean, the word pertaining to “blackened” here isnt about the race. its nothing weird if you read the synopsis, it does not in the slightest mean slavery and black race in the literal context. generally, it is a figure of speech duhh

Maybe what the title meant about the word”blackened” is that he’s somewhat “blinded”. When we’re blinded our thoughts and our perceptions are black or clouded. ML killed many people and wanted to avenge his family and his kingdom. His world is black. He’s blinded by revenge

In the Korean language, blackened means dark or twisted. Nothing to do with race.
