@Rococochoco Not all people are comfortable talking about their traumatic experiences. Also, in both her lives, she never received real love and affection. Any sort of affection she got was from the second prince who was on her abuser’s side so he wouldn’t tell her that what she experienced is bad, traumatizing, and not normal at all, and that she is allowed to be hurt by it.
The things that making her sane and not breaking down is her fixation with being a business man. It’s her way of coping of the bad things happening to her. So she didn’t take it to heart and simply think of it as a bad business agreement (ex: the staying at home situation). She didn’t understand and know what a familial love is. She thinks the world is a give and take, a trade. If she need something she think gotta give to deserve it.
It’s different to talk about one thing than something you are much closer to. Although I have talked about the abuse I endured at the hands of my mother, I actually only recently became aware of the extent and there is still a LOT I haven’t talked about. Yet, I can articulate other things in depth like it’s nothing.
So she can stand in front of all these people and her father to expertly explain this plan but she cant tell him what was going on at her aunts and why she ran away?
