Also, i understand if the father protected her from the darkness but she died 9 times, and so his reason… is that he’s afraid “she’ll die too” what???? i don’t exactly hate the father nor do i like him.
His fear is justifiable, especially if he might get his hands taken off, yet he’s a war hero who saved the world. Doesn’t he have enough power to protect his child and keep his head?
And the reason she died so much is because of his petty fear. He’s the reason she died so many times, because he refused to engage whatsoever. I hope he can change and grow a stronger mentality. Thinking that she’s going to die whenever you touch her is a bad thought to have. Shes an illegitimate princess who most likely has people trying to kill her, no matter what, its his duty as a father to use the best of his ability to help her. Even if he has to kill the emperor.
Nonetheless I think he’s been raised by the high priest for most of his life, and therefore he’s very emotionally manipulated, so he has room for growth and character development.
