I agree with all y’all but also think he’s starting to develop true feelings for Ash. Yea it’s unfair how it started (no need for me to repeat y’all’s words), but his heart is catching up with his actions.
Whether she will reciprocate, idk, but I don’t think him telling her she loved that POS would have changed too much. POS still would have hit her. He still would confront her in the garden and terrorize her at the fox palace. He’s so cold would acting lovey dovey toward him done anything but to piss him off and use those ‘feelings’ against her?
