This is what I think. This man finds Ash when she was a child and poor and makes her his servant. But he mistreats her and annoys her, maybe he has feelings for her, but because he thought it was wrong to have these feelings for a servant girl, he mistreated her and wanted to take advantage of her. But her sister understands, and because she was kind to save Ash from her brother, she makes her her servant so that his brother doesn’t touch her, and she treats her very well. But his brother is obsessed with Ash, but for him, power and other things are more important than a servant and sth,maybe love. In general, that man is a complete bastard.
