I don’t know. It felt like the Duke’s (I forgot, is he a duke?) confession is not really a kind of ‘love’ that we would normally see it. I mean he once loved a lady whom Ash served but now he said he loves Ash and had been searching for her??
Like I know that was in the past but seriously it didn’t feel like he actually really love, love Ash. You know?
I don’t know how to describe it…I guess it is just unbelievable and rather such an insecure kind of relationship I guess. Like as though it was just for convenience sake..or for memory sake..or protection sake…
Nonetheless, these are just my opinion. I just a reader and yet his confession to Ash feels rather complicated and vague, at the moment.
