The only thing that saddens me is the obvious favoritism of the father. It will hurt the children who wishes for his attention. I’m glad it’s just a story though.

It was so strange too when he was like “yeah I’m totally going to make you children who could not possibly introduce policies to change the system for the better, suffer to see how it is like for us at the bottom! Omg but you cant get hurt i did not expect you to be hurt!”
Like what kind of logic is kidnapping the emperor’s children to make the empire help them?? Did he not think the emperor would just get angry at what he’d done and double down on them or…
