So either this guy has some hidden agenda or we’re all wrong in this suspicion and he’s just really super innocent. I’m starting to think the latter because of his constant blushing… It’s the world of a novel after all, filled with somehow unrealistic characters 😀 So why not?

Is it really so unbelievable that this guy thought he could never love anyone as much as his first (and only) love after her marriage to the crown prince, so he thought about a contract-marriage to keep other women away and found it when the fls brother told him.
But only now he realizes that other women can also be lovely, fun and interesting, he just hasn’t noticed until now because he had merely looked at one woman in his whole life so far …
He’s such a gas-lighter. Even at the wedding, he got upset when she wasn’t looking at him. He gets upset whenever she mentions the 2 year limit HE made up. I look forward to seeing his POV. He’s clearly been in love with her. Maybe even a transmigrator himself or a regressor.
