I don’t think that the male lead “did well” – grabbing the empress by her wrist like that with an angry face was stupid, and why the heck did he even stand so close to her in the first place – close enough for her to touch him so easily?
The female lead (the pink-haired one, not Bertisha, even though she’s the “original” fl) sure went into this conversation weirdly unprepared. I understand she wants to “save” her man though, and considering her whole personality it makes sense that she just wants to run away and hide again. She has hidden herself and stayed out of the “original story” for her whole life after all.
ahhh? why? Why did she interrupt them? Let them sort it? What good does it do when things are left unresolved? let him be clear and whatnot, and yes ,I like white hair’s response your throat one.. FL needs new excuse also to adjust her timings as well…
Rightt I get it she wants to get herself and her man out but if only the conversation continued there’ll not be any misunderstandings in future or its the plot so she will misunderstand something later on lol
