Ignoring pain doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll go away. If you don’t acknowledge the pain and let yourself feel what you need to feel, you might not ever really move past it. All of them are suffering from some kind of pain, but they can’t move past it if everyone just tip toes around the past and won’t talk about it. 🙁

I am so, so glad that we’re being shown the king caring for his sons and the brothers caring for each other. In most of these stories, they mostly ignore each other except to fight for the attention of the youngest/MC and that is not a healthy or appealing family dynamic.
Depression is often genetic, with depressive episodes being set off by events that occur in life. I’m glad that Sezlei is getting help and that their father is recovering, and that MC didn’t just magically cure them with her presence alone.
