It took her 36 chapters to realize it but I’m glad she did. I was wondering why I didn’t feel bad for her. It wasn’t just because what Kale said was true. It’s because she didn’t realize before just how good her life is. Not everyone is gonna be able to go to college. Not everyone is gonna be able to pursue their dream like she is. So, for her to say what she did to Kale felt foul to me.
