This story is tagged “romance” and he’s the only one her age that’s appeared in nearly 20 chapters. I’ve read so many stories where they like to pull a “oh turns out they weren’t blood related after all” after having her cousin or brother or w/e fall in love with FL.
TLDR:
1. In romance stories, ML usually appears near the beginning,
2. It’s not uncommon for them to justify pairings by claiming the two aren’t related by blood, so it’s fine.
