It’s nice to see the wonder she feels from seeing all this stuff, it makes me happy. And she’s not one of those people that uses all the memories from her past to plot everything. She’s actually getting to live her life for real after having been abused and abandoned. She is a realistic approach to how an abused person should act. She’s scared and cautious and has a hard time accepting love but she also shows stress from to much affection. I like it

starts with pointless abuse, idiotic knights who ‘dob’t dare’ to go against a powerless empress and all around bullshittery just for the sake of drama. maybe the author should consider goving their characters some personality besides “abused victim”
