I would have read further if the negative comments on the FL wasn’t so petty and immature. Be warned, if you want to enjoy the manhwa its great but the comments on every.single.chapter.of.this.manhwa is so fucking toxic. This audience just wanted a pure uwu female lead and didn’t get it and now they are whining and barking im sick of it. Don’t let the negative comments stop you from enjoying this manhwa , its great have plots holes but great.

Oh the novel in naver has illustrations per chapter, tho its korean, i go there time to time to see each chapter’s illustration. Ari is really pretty there, Ceasa too, and ofc my white haired raphael and his red ruby eyes ? (i almost forgt the crown prince)

If you liked the first 8 chapters of this manhwa, i recommend that you read the novel. I binged it for like 3 days. A total page turner. There’s a lot of emotion on the novel and their thoughts are more detailed and described there.

@LCross18, yep the latter half of the novel, i read it on naver. I have a text file of the novel with around 86 chapters that has better translation (i got it from a forum i don’t remember where) the rest that hasnt been translated, i read it on naver^^

The novel is promising, the fact that I just caught up with the novel finishing 182 chapters. Instead of Ceasar, I think Raphael (the Marquess’ son and Julia’s brother) is a better fitting 2nd ml (i know crow prince will be the ml, but im still rooting for Raphael because he’s acknowledging ari’s capability and thinking ‘what more can this girl do if she has a power to wield.’) Ceasar on the other hand is not a jerk on the 2nd life. I think he genuinely fell in love for ari’s wits and rejected isabella’s offer to ‘team up’ just to break ari (so that ceasar can have her his self.) The novel doesnt focus on romance too, the events about power struggle are well narrated. I love how the novel showed that there is no absolute good and weak in every one (even the fml didnt go from a villainess to saint). Everyone character have their own will and is not flat. They move with motive. I think the crown prince is a bit naive and idealistic but that was his character from the very beginning. Subtle character developments were also shown especially on ari.

Reading the novel made me forget about Ceasar being a villain in the first life. I think he was just manipulated. It was all isabella’s doing. She’s a great villain. She know what she have and how to use it. She practically sees everyone as a stepping stone that she can discard after using. I love that my hate for her and her resilience are growing chapter after chapter even up to ch 182. Ari’s reason for regression and how it works is still not fully revealed in the novel.

I almost forgot how the queen is one of my fave characters. First she was never mean to Ceasar and would even give him snacks whenever ceasar would seek comfort on her garden (after being discipline by rubina, the king’s mistress). She would listen to his whims quietly and give him snacks. Ceasar as a child was attached to the queen which is very surprising. There was a scene where Ceasar asked the king (while he’s with the queen and Alfonso) if he can call the queen mom and be a happy family. But instead the king was furious. The king wanted Alfonso to have the throne that’s why he never recognized Ceasar as his son although he gives them financial support.
