That’s just how it is when you have the responsibility of running an empire on your shoulders. No way ppl actually think he’s indecisive lol. He needs to gain political power, he can’t just get with fl if its not beneficial enough. He can’t just leisurely think for himself he has to think for the PEOPLE! He was probably able to get with Isabella in the past because of how highly valued she was in society for her beauty and whatnot, whereas right now fl is not so highly regarded (but is slowly building herself up). If he were to throw it all away for fl rn everybody would be apalled 💀
