The bond of Ariadne and her little sister in this life was so heartwarming. They slowly developed their affection towards each other. They became each other’s confidant and comfort in that chaotic house?
that’s one of the charms of this manhwa. The main characters are portrayed as flawed humans. She’s not overly sweet, kind and selfless— either in her previous life or this one. I appreciate the fact that the fml has an evil side. She killed her sister’s husband due to her love for Ceasar. Ceasar on the other hand wanted everything best he can have because of his ‘inferiority complex’ against his half brother prince. Isabella at that time was the best wife anyone could take in, so Cesar grew an unhealthy obsession on her. The fact that she was the crown prince’s wife made it even more satisfying for him to have isabella. Isabella is very intelligent when it comes to manipulating and driving other’s to their demise.
I really love how each other’s character was portrayed. You cannot completely hate the characters (ariadne revenge, crown prince for his innocence and ideals, ceasar for his wrath and greed, queen for her stoic and cold personality and isabella’s way of surviving). Ariadne was truly wronged in her first life. But if you look at her deeds, at some point she deserve what she got because she ruined her sister’s ‘happy ending’. If you will think about it, Isabella is no different either. She doesn’t love the prince nor Ceasar, all she wanted was the the fame and honor that comes after the title so it doesnt seem like she deserve to be happy either (also considering how she used and discarded everyone). The reason why Ceasar is acting trashy was also explained (tho not justified) in the novel.
Yeah a trash and a trashcan suits well. It’s kinda funny if the king announces the engagement between Bastard and fool, i mean Caesar and Isabella. I thought Isabella is some intelligent kind of villainess but judging her now, I guess she’s just a trying hard and an attention seeker kind of delusional bitch.

Well in the novel, she kinda is (intelligent). She knows how to lure people, how to control the atmosphere, and drive people out of the high society. She never really acted on anything herself, rather she manipulate other people in doing her tactics. She is one selfish, self entitled, manipulative and evil bish who even killed her younger sister.
Whats funny is, Ceasar turns out to be smarter in this life. Since the fml’s wit caught his eye, Isabella’s beauty was shunned to the point that he declined accepting Isabella’s offer to help him have Ariadne for his self. Ceasar never tried any dirty tactics in claiming Ariadne too, although he knew that the prince was interested with Ariadne. Also, there were times where he helped both Ariadne and the crown prince by sacrificing a bit of his honor (well that’s how it was emphasized in the novel, the he tarnished his own honor) so putting Ceasar on the same level with Isabella is very degrading for him LMAO. Isabella went rock bottom?
@spring and summer I mean its only 10 chapters are you supposed to show your alas and tactics infront of your enemy in the very beginning of the battle if u “thought” ur facing a naive and mindless enemy? How can you last long in a war? Let just wish this goldie upgrade more in the future

Tbh, it’s frustrating seeing how isabella and aridne push and pull each other troughout the novel because ariadne can’t get rid of Isabela despite having 180 chapters (there were a lot of variables that affecting the fight between the sisters and it’s infuriating how isabela can always find an opportunity to save her self)
I don’t know what happened, maybe I didn’t understood well but I expected FL’s sister to be a better antagonist. She’s just acting like a typical and cliché girl-villainess desperate for attention and power. Wasn’t she also supposed to be smarter??? It’s kind of disappointing tbh
She is better than the rest but her being a self-centered and delusional villainess makes it cliché. I dont know how the manhwa would ‘interpret’ and materialize her as a character but i like how she always ‘outwits’ Ariadne by using her influence and beauty. She’s irritating but at least she’s using her brain — well sometimes lol (Tho she’s not the final boss in the 2nd life)
