Ok so things were skipped and once again the author is being stupid. 1. She’s part of the imperial family as well, she wouldn’t be accused of anything, just given a simple punishment if that. Because she’s considered a simpleton. Plus her father wouldn’t let this happen, because it would be a slander against his name. And by putting her to death would break the contract between him and the imperial family, which they wouldn’t want.
