question for the corsett-wearing folks:
I neither wear mine for long nor on bare skin (who the fuck even came up with that idea o.Ô), and I never noticed anything similar to the skin problems a bra in summer gives you, the moisture always got nicely taken away.
Artist also has a good understanding of the clothing, so is it just a mistake by the author/artist, or is it a problem when you wear a corsett for the full day? I can imagine the piece of clothing beneath the corsett (to keep the damn thing clean and nothing digging into the skin like modern bras -.-) would only take in moisture for so long, ending up at the “bra in summer” problem again, but I´m not sure. Any reader hear with (actual) insights cause you switch the bra with a corsett for daily long-term use?
mind you, shes a teacher, probably the most detail oriented people youll ever meet. Shes amazing and shes right, lots of scientists back in the day conduct experiments themselved thats why papers and theories were easily accepted. from isaac newtons apple to marie curies uranium. scientists can only take pride in their respective studies if they did it themselves and with much sincerity.
