This is another lazy writing…. to make the thief barefoot from FL’s house until the bar? I’m OK with using magic instead of proper investigation, but, there are really no other footprints besides the perpetrator… on the street?? And to make the perpetrator still barefooting in the bar, or, to make he is the only one who wears no shoes.

How did he break in and know exactly where the safe was, it’s password, or the fact that she’d be asleep? This seems more like a terribly planned out plot point to make the readers like this guy since he helped her.

He owns a business too ;-; And if the shop is close with lights off, that means the owner is asleep. And the safe, since it’s old, won’t have a code. It’s like the old days where the roung circle thingy and guess the number to open- I have it too, wo you can just picklock it yo open tbh, yes I tried it.
