Bruh why you guys putting modern mindset in this setting? It’s more of a fantasy for an emperor to only have one wife. Battle of succession will always be there in this setting, wether the child is illegitimate or not. The mother is usually the ones who pushed their kids to be king.
There are times where I forget or don’t know what is going on, but, this seem like (weird) another stage. They say he has holy powers and all but all I see is a man who dosen’t even think things through like a man who was blessed with holy divine powers. He should be thinking that all this started out with the EMPEROR. He cheated and brought them in while he was still freaking married to his damn related family somewhat wife. Everything happened cause👏of👏miss👏Emperor👏👏👏
None of this would have happened if his mother married the EMPEROR !!! Plus holy people are suppose to forgive and forget. Don’t make enemies… i’d say his not worth the saving but who am I to judge in any of this. Were not perfect I get it.
The emperor is so stupid like he married the empress for him or the kingdom to become stronger but he cheated on her because he’s a bastard which will lead to the kingdom being weaker due to the fact that the 2nd prince is much more eligible than the 1st prince. Once the 1st prince won the duke that supported the 1st prince will lost it’s standing that’s why the 1st prince faction will do anything even allying with their long term enemy just to win the throne. Even if the 2nd prince or the 1st prince won the fight many resources and many nobles are already lost which has a high risk of invasion because the kingdom is not yet stable. The ally of 5he 1st prince from other kingdom may backstab him or is just waiting for an opportunity to happen. In short the king made it more complicated by being horny and put the kingdom in more risk.
actually…. this battle of the throne will never happen if the emperor never cheated. like the fvck why do emperors in the story like to get mistresses? I’m tired of that same old shit but i like the plot of this story. i just don’t like that they are battling because of the throne. why do emperors want to make princes fight until one of them dies?
huh. surprised his connection to a god of light didn’t spill the beans on Shadow Creature Lady Knight over here. i thought for sure he’d be in on it from the beginning, but they look to be winding up for a juicy reveal later. fair enough
thats what I thought. if he has a high level of divine power then wouldn’t he detect that she’s a creature created by darkness??? I guess, her darkness isn’t inherited evil….
