The reasons are valid and acceptable. The only part where the two of you messed up is not being able to explain the whole situation to Selena. Had she known that she was forced into marriage because she’s a naive spoiled kid who can’t even handle a contract… She will at least be able to take interest in learning proper business etiquette. She’ll try her best to be able to help her husband instead of fighting him every single time. She thought she’s being thrown away into despair so she pushes the grandma and the husband away.
