Life-threatening drama, bullying (by servants of the family that pays them no less), sob-sob suffering for years and years, and now the female lead is suddenly totally pampered by maids who adore her and a nice personal female guard who hold/s no predjudice against the “cursed child”?
Where have all these kind women been hidden all this time?
It bugs me a little that Ricardo asked the maids if they thought the family didn’t know about how the female lead lived… Why did he tell such a lie? When entering this house he was surprised about the annex… But telling the maids that the family knew about the neglect was basically ensuring them what they did was okay because the family knewingly tolerated it all this time 🙁
