If the family really cared about the female lead, they would have visited her, and her grandfather wouldn’t have yelled at her aggressively, but explained things instead. They also should have realized – at least from her rare forbidden visits – that she was not fed well and looked neglected too.
A family that does not even keep an eye on their own servants’ doings is also idiotic in itself. If the “bad” maids/servants were fired, why didn’t they check on the new staff that also abandoned the female lead when the house was on fire? Not learning from their mistakes, huh? Dumb folk.
And this stupid knight is the worst, blaming a young child for whatever even though she was basically imprisoned and knew of nothing – he should have blamed himself! Like for never trying to contact this child and not doing anything to help her “awaken” if this was really so important to him…
