What— I’m so confused? The desc said that her family abndoned her so she retorted in marrying this mercenary guy. But it turns out that he’s a crown prince? Or is there a crown prince then this red eyed guy will be coming back with him? And as far as I’ve read, it seems like she wasn’t forced to go through the marraige?
Talking about another man to replace tiara’s fiancee and likely is a candidate for crown prince Since the vicountess in the previous chapter has married her daughters off to influential families if she soundly starts talking about how the empress family is untrustworthy and that her daughters can’t marry into the family then she is dragging other families out of the empress support and make her blood less viable for the crown.
I’ve read all the comments says her mother didn’t care for her.. But for me of course their mother care alot to her daugters,, they’re her biggest assets,, of course she would care to her daughters but i think not 100℅ maternal care, but more like 60% investment plus profit and 40% Maternal.
Maybe their mother is just concerned about them being bullied when or if she die, that’s why she made sure that her daughters will marry a man with high status..for some aspects it’s kinda ambitious but for a mother who love her children dearly she will do everything and anything to secure their lives…I love how witty she is, talking back to the empress like that..
ok I am so fcking confused. The description clearly stated that her family turned on her because they only cared about status, yet the mother and sisters seem so supportive right now. Unless it’s some type of misdirect and she’s actually filled with greed. Or the mother is just obsessed with status that she forgot about the feelings of her daughter.
In chapter one, the FL says she left her home or that she cannot stay in the family without a husband….? am i getting that wrong? Is this just showing what happened before she proposed marriage to the other guy? ugh idk the mother seems like a strong woman, but there is always the calm before the storm. She’s either a good person, or the author is a genius at tricking the audience.
Maybe it’s both? Like notice our FL is NOT there for her Mother’s conversations here or with her sisters. If she sets her daughter up to run then obviously ‘she’ didn’t direct it. Meanwhile knowing the red eye ML or Crown prince wouldn’t align with her family because of her mother’s previous machinations with the Atlas family who are clearly over-ambitious as well. Getting a turns out she is an absolute fox setting Tiara away would be a heckuva twist.
