I agree that it would have made for quite the story if she were to end up killing everyone. However, in case the fact eluded you, Dulan did say in no uncertain terms that he wanted Carynme to SUFFER as a MAID for Isella as PUNISHMENT for her LEAVING HIM. To make matters worse, be said all that while blushing like a depraved pervert. What part of that was appealing? The best option as this point is to stay single.
Moral of the story romance = agonizing death.
