He knew about Rashta’s tendencies to harm others to get attention for herself so it’s good that he wanted to assign someone else in charge of his daughter.
He did not care at all whether his child was a boy or girl, which kinda makes him waaaaaay better than a lot of sexist emperors from other manhwas.
He even wanted to make his daughter into a leader for his empire! That says a lot🤯😲

But his lack of communication with her is due to her having sever psycho tendendies. I havent read past this chapter yet, but I would assume he’s goal is to depose her in the end anyways, because of all the harm she is bringing and he only kept her until the birth of the child. The fact tha he doesnt want her to raise the child, for fear of her potentionally harming the baby, like she did the bird makes it seem to me that he’s set on cutting her out at some point.

He did realize his BIG TERRIBLE MISTAKE and He does deserve it but…..
I mean its normal to emphatize with someone who has gone through the process of realizing his mistakes and accepting them. He doesn’t justify his bad behavior towards Navier, and even told her to forget about him in the earlier chapters. That alone is a huge growth in a non toxic way. After seeing how he reacted with his daughter being born, I think he pressured himself in a negative manner and did whatever he could to procure an Heir, because he was certain that Navier was infertile and he used that as justification for his actions, but he realized after that even then it was a horrible thing to do. Let’s just hope he isnt as shitty of a human being going forward, considering all of his character development since. I still don’t like him, because I am biased towards Navier, but I can definitely see him in a better light.
