This is a horror-story with a lot of body-horror.
The “plot” is obviously just an excuse to present an endless stream of slaughtering-scenes paired with some… semi-erotic… feelings towards her crazy but “good-looking” concierge – however, this is definitely not a “romance”.
The female lead lacks any kind of personality so far, maybe because all she can do is run away and refuse to be killed in this horror-hotel where half-monster-like nightmarish people claim to be employees and revel in gruesomly murdering the “guests” – who likewise enjoy (!) being murdered.
Like the summary also says, this hotel is seemingly in the afterlife or purgatory, perhaps only for murderers (flashbacks of the female lead could be interpreted as her having slaughtered people in her life) who need some sort of last push or maybe redemption in order to die for good?
So maybe their “atonement” for their sins is what makes them feel so great while being tortured and ripped to pieces alive? It’s a super weird concept and extra creepy realization into images.
