ya know, i kinda really enjoy that her chosen father isnt some secret talent who’s smarter than everyone and already knows everything. he’s just your average guy who’s given up on studying or being acknowledged and was intending to play his days away. she didnt choose him cuz he’s a genius or someshit, she chose him because he’s the only person who genuinely gave a damn about her. and idk, i just appreciate that. helping and propping up her lackluster uncle because he’s the one who gave a damn really just scratches an itch for me that i find very satisfying
